Recently, Scarlet has turned to jewellery as well, founding ‘Love Scarlet’, named because Scarlet initially made pieces for close friends and family. There is a story behind every piece, initially made as a bespoke piece for loved ones, reflecting the beauty of Scarlet’s world in the English countryside.
The ‘Love Scarlet’ Acorn logo was born out of her eponymous first solid Silver cast piece, which was an Acorn she found outside the gates at her daughter’s village school. Love Scarlet's pieces are originally sourced and inspired by the beauty of the natural form and found items. Her influences are taken from the world in which we live, organic shapes, form and structure.
Scarlet crafts her products by hand from her workshop in South Oxfordshire. She trained in jewellery, specialising in silversmithing.
The finished products are substantial, unique and highly tactile pieces of jewellery for special occasions such as christenings, births, moving house and ... just because!
Bespoke orders can also be taken, Scarlet can work with customers to create beautiful pieces of jewellery from sentimental items, such as leaves from a favourite plant or place.
